PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR

The IS offers passionate design and optimal visibility, as seen in the available Panoramic View Monitor. Four high-resolution cameras have been mounted on the front, sides, and rear of the vehicle to give the driver a bird’s-eye view of the near environment. Moving View and See-Through View options create a composite image of the vehicle’s surroundings, as on-screen guides assist with parking and tight manoeuvring.

The advanced petrol-electric hybrid engine uses the revolutionary Self-Charging Hybrid system, an industry innovation which means you conveniently never have to charge the IS. The total system output from the 2.5-litre petrol engine and the nickel-hydrogen battery system is 164kW. An Electronically-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) maximises both efficiency and performance.
