Vita Basadi Awards 11th Edition

In its 11th Edition Vita Basadi Awards, a prestigious event, hosted by the Gauteng Legislature, a beacon of Hope to many SA women across the spectrum performing expeditiously in different industries.

This year’s event will explore beyond a decade of brilliance in expanding its search across the nation’s provinces in recognizing the most significant of ordinary women.

This selfless service by the South African individuals creates hope in leadership, courage, and compassion, motivating excellence.

With no boundaries set, the young and old compete in different fields, backgrounds, cultures, faiths, sexual orientations, and abilities, including women with disabilities.

Awards Criteria

Community Builder Awards, Guardian Awards, and Young Dignitary Award, to mention a few of the ingredients. The annual event is back with more inspiring innovation and an exceptional, breathtaking display of showcasing the pride of the nation.

The nation is requested to send in nominations until 30th June 2026, and the winners will be celebrated at the Vita Basadi Awards Ceremony in August 2026.
