KAIZER CHIEFS RESUME THE BETWAY PREMIERSHIP PRESSURE RACE TONIGHT
Kaizer Chiefs will return to action in the Betway Premiership today, looking for nothing but a win.
Naturena Boyz will begin their first pressure race of the Betway Premiership 2025-2026, against Lamontville Golden Arrows tonight, 20 January, at FNB Stadium.
Having started the season with three straight league wins, the Chiefs have dropped midway into the season and now sit fourth with 24 points from 13 matches, while the visitors occupy 10th place with 16 points from 14 games.
Amakhosi are unbeaten in their last five league encounters, whereas Arrows have suffered four defeats in their previous five matches.
A win could potentially put them in second if Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United drop points midweek.
Defeat, however, will likely see Kaizer Chiefs outside contention to win the Betway Premiership this season. With four points separating them and Orlando Pirates, a loss at home will see them drop further behind on the log.
